Font Shop 2009 YTD bestsellers

FontShop has blogged about is 2009 bestsellers. Always interested to see what’s en vogue type-wise. I was a little surprised—although not really upon further reflection—about the resurgence of slab serifs.  I’m  a fan of Xavier Durpé’s Vista Slab, nice to see it selling well.

New Font: More Complete Character Set

For my font the uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation are nearly complete.  Working on international characters and ordinals. I’ve also started kerning and some of the Type 1 hinting.
